Flick Games

Privacy

Flick Games is a set of sports games you play by flicking your thumb or your mouse. The games don't use your camera or microphone, there are no accounts, and nothing about you is collected. This page covers the little the games keep and the software they load.

Saved in your browser

The games keep a few things in this browser's local storage so they're there next time: your best score in each game, whether the sound is on, and whether the goalkeeper is on in Penalty Kick. None of it leaves your device. To clear it, clear this site's data in your browser's settings.

The software it loads

The 3D drawing is three.js, a free graphics library. Your browser downloads it from jsDelivr, a service that hosts free software, the same way it loads any web page. The lettering comes from Google Fonts, which sees your internet address when it sends the font files.

The camera version

We're also testing a camera version, where a goal appears on your real floor. It isn't on the start screen and only opens from a separate test link. If you do open it, your browser asks to use the back camera (and, on iPhones, motion sensors). The picture is read on your phone to find the floor and follow how the phone moves, using the 8th Wall engine made by Niantic Spatial, which runs inside your browser. The camera picture is never recorded, saved, uploaded, or sent to us or to anyone else, and the game doesn't look for people or faces. When you leave the game, the camera turns off.

Kids

Flick Games works for kids. There are no accounts, no ads, no chat and nothing to type, and we don't collect personal information from anyone, kids included.
